Mako Reels 9550 Inshore Reels

The 9550 is great choice for 9-11 wt rods. Think large striped bass in the NE and big permit in the SE. This is reel for targeting fish in the 25-50 pound class and has the drag you need for those power forked tailed fish. You will have backing to spare and with the large 4.5" diameter spool you will be able to achieve about 15 inches of line pickup per revolution.
