Meet the Author: Monte Burke

Free & open to the public!

Join Urban Angler and the Metropolitan Fly Fishing Club (MFFC) for an evening with author Monte Burke. In his newest book, Rivers Always Reach the Sea, Burke explores the lives and waters that define a lifetime of chasing fish, featuring profiles of iconic anglers, conservationists, and the rivers that shape their stories. The event includes a book signing, author discussion and Q&A, and a chance to connect with fellow anglers as the 2025 season heats up. Copies of Rivers Always Reach the Sea will be available for purchase at Urban Angler. The event is free and open to the public with refreshments provided by MFFC.
