We provide complimentary shipping for our customers within the domestic and international markets. More details below.

Domestic U.S. Shipments

  • Orders over $50 qualify for FREE UPS Ground Shipping.
  • Applies to domestic U.S. shipments only.
  • Order total must be $50 or more before tax.

International Shipments

  • Orders over $1000 USD qualify for FREE UPS International Shipping.
  • Applies to international shipments only where our shipping zones allow.
  • Order total must be $1000 USD or more before tax.
  • VAT is the responsibility of the purchaser/recipient. Urban Angler does not collect and will not pay VAT nor customs duties.

Shipping Information

Processing Times

  • Orders are processed within 24 hours. If delays occur, we’ll contact you.
  • Backorders: You’ll be notified and given the option to wait or cancel.

UPS Shipping Options

  • No PO Boxes: Each delivery requires a street address and phone number.

  • Ground Shipping (3–6 Days): In-stock items typically arrive in 3–5 business days.

  • Express Shipping (1–2 Days): Available for in-stock items. Orders placed after 3:00 PM ET ship the next business day.

Insurance & Signature Policy

  • Insurance: Every package we ship is insured for its full value.

  • Signature Required: For orders over a certain value (threshold determined by Urban Angler and UPS policies), a signature will be required at delivery.

  • If you’d prefer to waive the signature requirement, please contact us before your order ships — however, doing so transfers liability for lost or stolen packages to the customer.

  • If no one is available to sign, UPS may attempt redelivery or hold the package at a local UPS Access Point™.

International VAT & Duties

  • Urban Angler does not collect or remit VAT, duties, or import taxes on international orders.

  • All such charges are the responsibility of the recipient and will be collected by customs or the shipping carrier before delivery.

  • For United Kingdom customers: Orders valued over £135 may be subject to VAT and import duty at the border. Because we are not registered with HMRC and do not maintain a Royal Mail VAT account, Urban Angler cannot pre-collect these fees. Customers are responsible for any VAT, duties, or customs charges due on delivery.

  • For EU and other international customers: VAT, GST, and customs charges vary by country. Please check your local regulations before placing an order.

  • Packages refused or returned due to unpaid duties or VAT will be refunded less shipping costs once the items are received back in new, resalable condition.

Same-Day Messenger Service

  • Available for qualifying addresses within designated delivery zones (customers can check eligibility during checkout).

  • Orders must be placed before 2:00 PM EST.

  • Flat fee of $25.00 per order.

  • Delivery occurs the same day, typically within business hours.

  • If an order is placed after 2:00 PM EST, delivery will roll to the following business day.

Additional Notes

  • Business days exclude weekends and holidays

  • Oversized/heavy items may incur extra charges (noted on product page)

  • Ship and delivery dates apply only to in-stock items

Restrictions

  • No shipments to PO Boxes
  • No shipments to freight forwarders
  • Some items (e.g., lacquers, paints, flammable materials) cannot ship via air or internationally
  • Oversized or heavy items may incur additional charges (clearly noted on product pages)

Currently UPS is our only carrier. Other shipping arrangements require prior authorization by phone. Please call the shop to discuss your needs before placing an order.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you’re not satisfied, most items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery for a refund (less shipping charges), provided the item is in new condition with original packaging.

Can I return a clearance or sale item?

No, all clearance and sale items are final sale and non-returnable.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Please contact us right away with photos of the damage so we can assist with a replacement or refund.

How to Start a Return

Follow These Steps

  1. Go to Your Order Confirmation Email

    Open the order confirmation or shipping confirmation email you received from Urban Angler, then click the “View your order” link.

  2. Request a Return

    On the order page, select the item(s) you want to return. Choose the reason for return and whether you’d like a refund or exchange.

  3. Wait for Approval

    Our team will review your request. Once approved, you’ll receive return instructions and, if applicable, a prepaid UPS label.

  4. Pack & Ship

    Place the item in its original packaging, include your receipt or order number in the package, and ship it back using the provided instructions.

Guests without an account can also start a return using their order confirmation email link — no login required.

Restock Fee

Refunds may be reduced or denied if items are not in new, resalable condition. Unacceptable returns may be refused or subject to a 15% restocking fee.
