Capt. Bryan Goulart - Jamaica Bay, Montauk
Season: April - December
Captain Goulart does it all; from the back bays to offshore breaks, he fishes for stripped bass, bluefish, weakfish, false albacore, and bluefin tuna from Jamaica Bay to Montauk. Captain Goulart was a cast member on the 2006 ESPN Outdoors production “Guidehouse: Montauk.” He runs a Bluewater 2150 for most charters, but also has a Hewes LT20 for stalking the flats.

Capt. Brendan McCarthy- Jamaica Bay, Hamptons, Montauk
Season: April - December
Captain McCarthy moved to New York City in 1990 and has been pursuing the game fish of Long Island ever since. He has been featured in the New York Times, Saltwater Flyfishing, and in 2006 he was a cast member for the ESPN Outdoors TV production “Guidehouse: Montauk”.

For Captain McMurray saltwater flyfishing encompasses an entire angling philosophy. Capt. Frank Crescitelli- New York Harbor, Northern New Jersey
Season: April – December
Captain Crescitelli does it all: casting to striped bass on shallow water flats, throwing big flies into the mighty Hudson under the NY skyline, or chasing busting tuna in offshore canyons. Captain Crescitelli has over 25 years experience saltwater fishing, and was named one of New York’s top guides by New York Magazine. Capt. Crescitelli runs a new 32’ Regulator and a 2006 Actioncraft 24’.

Captain Joe Shastay has been fishing the East River and New York Harbor for 18 years. Captain Shastay is noted for serious fishing while maintaining a fun atmosphere on the boat. He once had a streak of 237 consecutive charters without being “skunked”. He runs a 21’ SteigerCraft.

Captain Hessert leaves the marina early; usually well before first light. He is a sight fishing specialist but also enjoys chasing birds and working the near offshore traps. All fishing is done out of his 2005 Topaz 24.

Season: April – November
Captain Switzer has been flyfishing the Eastern end of Long Island for 24 years. She was a cast member on the 2006 ESPN Outdoors production “Guidehouse: Montauk.” Captain Switzer is a member of the Costal Conservation Association and the PFLGA, and believes in the essential need for the conservation of marine environments. Captain Switzer specializes in sight fishing for stripped bass and light tackle inshore fishing. She fishes out of a 21’ Parker or a 2004 Silver Shadow flats skiff.

Author, former Keys guide, former Urban Angler GM and well-known Long Island charter Captain; Captain Derr will work to expose you to the amazing fishery that is the East End of Long Island. Captain Derr accesses some of the most prolific striped bass water in the world in his Parker 1810.

Capt John Tondra has been fishing the waters of Montauk for 25 years. He fishes his 23' Jones Brother from June through November for Striped Bass, Bluefish, False Albacore and all offshore species that decide to eat throughout the summer.
